Nicknames/Aliases:  Daedalus or Tony.

  Oklahoma is a landlocked state in the South Central and Southwestern region of the United States. It  borders Texas to the south and west, Kansas to the north, Missouri to  the northeast, Arkansas to the southeast, New Mexico to the west, and  Colorado to the northwest. Partially  in the western extreme of the Upland South, it is the 20th-most  extensive and the 28th-most populous of the 50 United States. Its residents are known as Oklahomans and its capital and largest city is Oklahoma City. The state's name is derived from the Choctaw words okla, 'people' and humma, which translates as 'red'. Oklahoma  is also known informally by its nickname, "The Sooner State", in  reference to the Sooners, American settlers who staked their claims in  formerly American Indian-owned lands until the Indian Appropriations Act  of 1889 authorized the Land Rush of 1889 opening the land to  settlement. 

After, graduating from high school at the age of seventeen. I decided to enlist in the  United States Marine Corps. I figured that would open a path for me to explore the world. My Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in the United States Marine Corps. was 0151, Personnel/Administration Clerk. It was a basically a 9 to 5 job. Yet, I thought it to be a great job. Not being obligated with arduous training and continuous deployments. It left me with plenty free time. So, I decided to take advantage of many of the benefits for active-duty service members.

   Military service offers a tremendous array of education benefits that can be used while on active duty or after completion of service. I thought, a good education would be essential to a career both in uniform and out. So, I took advantage of the Military Tuition Assistance (TA) Program. It's a benefit paid to eligible members  of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard. I was awarded Associate's of Arts Degree's (AA) in Chemistry, General Education and Linguistics, with emphasis in Japanese.After, completion of my military contract I transferred to a 4-year University. To study and be awarded a Bachelors of Science in General Biology.   

    After college graduation, I worked for various pharmaceutical companies in the local San Diego, California area. Before, making the decision to enlist in the 

United States Navy. 

The United States Navy (USN) is the naval warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the seven uniformed services of  the United States of America (USA). My enlisted occupation/rate in the US Navy was Machinery Repairmen (MR) Petty Officer 2nd Class.
